I’m proud to unveil the title logo for Trophy Girls, created by the talented John Roshell of Comicraft. Designing the Trophy Girls title logo wasn’t any easy task. However, after a few weeks of collaborating with John, Crystal and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome.  The image below is an example of how the logo can be used with either a white or dark background.

The Title Logo Must Also Be Readable

There may be some cases where the statue in the logo will be removed because of the cover design. Also, while the logo will remain gold, there may be times when the shade of gold will have to be adjusted. This way it will be able to compliment the cover design.

You could have the best cover art ever done but if your logo is unrecognizable or unreadable forget it. I’m sure we’ve all passed by a comic book just because the title difficult to read. If you didn’t already know, Comicraft also designed my logo for The Deciders.

The old saying “You get what you pay for.” applies to this scenario. After hiring a few artists, for very little money, to design a logo for The Deciders I got exactly what I paid for. Just look at the image below and tell me if you find it easy to read.

Knowing the importance of the logo I knew I couldn’t skimp out so I contacted Comicraft. John came to the rescue and designed The Deciders logo that is used today! Don’t forget, The Deciders is still available and I encourage you to read the series if you already haven’t!

To wrap things up, the cover art is being penciled by the mega-talented Jinky Coronado (BANZAI GIRL, Exposure 2, Avalon High) and I guarantee she will not disappoint you!
