Trophy Girls by The Potter Twins

Trophy Girls by The Potter Twins

Trophy Girls is The Authorized and Audacious Autobiography of The Potter Twins

Trophy Girls follows the Potter Twins as they gain unexpected success in the adult film industry (and beyond). A project that Crystal and myself have been working on with the help of Nathan Massengill.

The stories themselves are true to life accounts of our time in and out of Los Angeles. This is not a kiss and tell-all book. Instead it’s a compilation of stories which are funny, poignant, sad, and in most cases unbelievable.

Our story, which also seems too fantastic to be real, lets you peer behind the curtain and share the scandal, sex, tears, and laughter that makes up this uniquely unforgettable adventure.

Judit Tondora (Wonder Woman ’77 Meets The Bionic Woman, Grimm Fairy Tales: Tales From Neverland) has finished one of the stories about our first trip to Los Angeles.  Here is page 1 from this 16 page story, part of the Trophy Girls graphic novel.

Our Surreal Week

I am currently working on the next story about my first serious relationship along side my battle with anorexia. Yes, this is a serious subject matter and I hope it reaches out to those, or knows someone who is, suffering from an eating disorder. The story does take a rather hilarious turn as I get older and well, let’s leave it at that.

As Trophy Girls moves along I will also be sharing parts of my script, this way you can see my process of comic book writing. Sometimes what you read in my script may not be within the final version of Trophy Girls.

If you haven’t already, don’t forget to read my five issue mini-series The Deciders which is available on Amazon, comiXology, Drive-Thru Comics, and Google Reads. And if you’re looking for a good laugh read my parody Bible Versus: Virgin Mary vs. God available at iTunes.

Alter Ego issue 143 – Don Glut

Alter Ego

While at my local comic book shop the other day I was excited to see an issue of Alter Ego featuring Don Glut!

In ALTER EGO #143 (80 full-color pages, $8.95), DON GLUT tells RICHARD ARNDT about his early years as an amateur film-maker, rock musician—and comic book writer for Marvel, Warren—and especially Gold Key! Don talks about the creation of such series as Doctor Spektor, Dagar the Invincible, and Tragg and the Sky Gods, and about scripting Twilight Zone, The Invaders, Kull the Destroyer, Solomon Kane, Captain America, What If, et al.!

Crystal and I had the pleasure of working with Don Glut on his movie Mummy’s Kiss: 2nd Dynasty  Don Glutand I took that opportunity to talk about writing comics and all sorts of geeky stuff with him.

He’s a super sweet guy who was kind enough to give me a few issues he’d written. First was Doctor Spektor and the second was  issue #10 of Marvel Comic’s What If...

I encourage everyone to pick up a copy of Alter Ego #143 where magazines are sold or at TwoMorrows Publishing website.

Furthermore, you can watch Crystal and I in Mummy’s Kiss: 2nd Dynasty as The Hand Maidens. Order your copy at Amazon.com
